Hi, I'm Mashika. The human behind Apereve

In a world that moves fast and often values quantity over quality, Aperevè was built with the opposite intention: to slow down, to create with care, and to make clothing that feels timeless, personal and alive with meaning.

Two years and several collections later, we’ve found a beautiful community of women who share this vision. Even though we only release a handful of pieces each season (because the simplest, most effortless things often take the longest to perfect), you continue to choose us, wear us, and cheer us on. For that, I can’t thank you enough.

Aperevè has always been independent and women-led, with no outside investment — which means we get to grow at our own rhythm, stay true to our values and honour every pair of hands and every story behind our clothes. From sourcing fabric excess to championing local craft, my goal has always been to create pieces that last years, not seasons, while giving back to the communities that raised me.

Aperevè is my love letter to both Sri Lanka and Italy — to slow evenings, to confidence expressed in simplicity and to all of you who believe fashion can be both conscious and beautiful. We exist to empower, to celebrate and to offer clothing that moves effortlessly with you through life.

With gratitude,
Mashika
Founder, Aperevè

  • EMPOWER

We empower our production unit by encouraging them to establish their own pricing structures and adhere to their deadlines autonomously. At our core, we are committed to empowering women to make decisions that foster lives imbued with passion and purpose. We firmly believe that employment plays a pivotal role in attaining financial independence, affording individuals the liberty to shape their own destinies.

  • PLANET

We take pride in responsibly sourcing our materials from deadstock and factory excess. Our dedication to sustainability compels us to obtain precise fabric quantities, opting for local sourcing to minimise our carbon footprint. In contrast to fast fashion practices, we refrain from bulk fabric purchases, aligning with our mission to minimise environmental impact.
